Moving to Price!

Funny the places that keep you coming back. The family has recently moved to Price, and I feel like I've stepped into an old comfy pair of shoes. Things seem to be coming together in the home, with the children, and Jon's new job. My only struggle is making this dated home feel like our home. I thought it would be fun to document this journey with pictures of course! I hope you enjoy watching the transformation. Keep in mind we are renting, all the wall paper and carpet must stay for now. If you are reading this and have any ideas please share. I'm trying to make the dated look new, and use what I already have with very little money spent! It should be fun I hope.

Fox starts preschool in a few weeks and is super excited to meet his new teacher!

Sum bum got roller skates a few days ago, and wont take them off... Oh and she is obsessed with texting. Who new you could text before you learned to read!

Wynter's in second grade this year and one smart cookie, I clam the long legs but dad gets full credit for the brains!

I love that she is beautiful and tough!

Quakee loves to play football and loves her initials QB!

Well it's that time of year again. Back to routine, back to sanity, back to school! It's not that I don't love my little monsters, it's just that I love their education.. ya right! I love that my house stays clean for half the day, I love that I can hear myself think, I love not being a ref all the time, and I love seeing them after along successful day for both of us!! That being said we had a fantastic summer break, and I'm sad to see it end.
They grow so fast and I'm so grateful for the technology we have that lets us preserve these memories. We had fun yesterday taking pictures of the kids in their school clothes. Wynter and Summer are still a half size different Wynter at a 6x Summer a 6, Quakee has past me up for three months we shared the same size. It still amazes me how fast she has grown. Justice grew 4 inches this year, and is not about to be out grown by his younger sister. Fox also grew some legs for awhile I thought he was going to take after his dad, but his grandpas legs have come out ahead!
Justice called Saturday and told us about the deer he killed with his bow. We are very proud of the young man he is. I'm so grateful for the blessings they bring to my life. I hope you are all Happy and your cup is full.

Back in the saddle again!

My latest work of art. Jessa is my beautiful niece and this is her beautiful family. I had so much fun taking these pictures. After my long recovery it felt good to be behind the camera again. I've driven past this building a couple times a day every time thinking that would be a great place to take pictures and it was! I live in such a beautiful place so many great photo opportunities. Oaklee has so much personality she is soooo cute! Jessa did an amazing job picking clothes and putting these pictures together truly the hardest part!!! Tyler is such a great sport, I'm looking forward to Oaklees Halloween pictures. Remember last year!

I'm ready to tell you all about my other half. Jon is my husband of thirteen years in August 2010. It was truly love at first sight for me. We met when he offered to help the damsel in distress. I had lost my keys and he came to my rescue. Jon had blond hair half way down his back, blue eyes, and broad shoulders, Oh... and I can't forget the lifted black truck! He has carried the bulk of our responsibilities on those broad shoulders, and cut his blond hair that I loved so much to support the family we now have. Personal sacrifice's we have both made for the good of our clan continue to be made. I hope the time has finally come that he can spend more time taking care of himself I can only add that he is complicated. If I had just one word to describe him it would be Complicated!!!

and last but not least my little hero! Fox is three years old and full of it. He loves any kind of hero Spider Man, Batman, Iron Man just to name a few. We live and breath Super Hero's. Fox is Super animated, Super obsessive... and SUPER FUN! His smile lights up my life he is affectionate and loves to play with his brother and sisters. Getting him here was absolutely worth all the trouble. I'm having a hysterectomy in May that will hopefully end the trouble. I'm looking forward to seeing Fox continue to grow into a wonderful young man.

Meet my Sunshine!

Oh I've been bad. I have been so busy getting our new business going, and taking pictures in between the dirty tricks life throws at us parents like the Stomach Flu! However I think we are ready for the next round. I do love the spring rain just not the snow in April. Today we seem to be getting more rain then snow so it's a good day. I have two more children I would like to introduce you to the first is my beautiful blond Summer. She is so fun she has the cutest laugh and the biggest smile I'm so blessed! Summer just started school and is adjusting well, Fox and I have found it much harder. They play so well together I'm afraid she is a much better Joker then I. Her name couldn't fit her better she is the light of my life and the warmth of our home.

Well it's time for me to gloat about my oldest daughter Quakee. I know your saying... Oh barf right now. But I'm giving it to you anyway, because every mother needs a child like her. Quakee is much younger then she looks and very mature for her age. She takes good care of her mommy and everyone else and never complains in fact if you see or hear from her it's rare. She spends most of her time reading. But this is not what I'm gloating about. Two days in a row she has surprised me. First with a clean bedroom and the next day a cook book she bought with her own money from the book fair. This was thoughtful and wonderful but the best part was that she placed it on the seat with a not saying we love you mommy. Ten dollars she spent of her own money to buy me a book and she shared the credit with her brothers and sisters. This brings me to tears. I'm honored to be her mommy and consider myself blessed to have a real Angel looking after me.

A little of what I've been up to.

Up coming events.
Today my mind has been on the days to come. My oldest son Justice has a birthday in March. A few years ago I stopped inviting aunts and uncles, cousins etc.. over for cake and ice cream. Something I regret and plan to change this year. I miss having the celebration that came along with a group.
When I married my husband this was one of those traditions I felt I forced on his family, and after several years gave up trying to bring them together for this reason. I now feel that it was a mistake. You see it's not just cake and ice cream. But a connection to the support system that was naturally given to us. (FAMILY)
It's not OK to just be there when someone needs you, we need more our children need more. Never again will feel guilty and change my tradition to accommodate someone else. So family and friends please note that my door will always be open weather you choose to use it or not!

Hmm... still trying to figure things out!
My pictures are not very accessible. Tomorrow I'll get my new my book back from pc laptops, and maybe things will speed up. If you know me, you know I'm a picture person.
I was very proud of my beautiful Wynter this weekend she tends to be shy when she is outside of her comfort zone. I've worried, and wondered how I could help her work through this insecurity. To my surprise this sweet seven year old raised her hand and gave the closing prayer in church. I was so impressed she even remembered to still bless those in Hatti. I love moments like these. You know the ones that say, their going to be just fine.
